Much has happened with us since the last post. Here is a the play-by-play from November til now.
November-We welcomed Grandma and Grandpa the first week of November and had a great time. We visited Texas stadium (as noted in the previous post). Also, Grandpa and I spend a good chunk of time working on a built-in computer desk at the end of our hall. It turned out to be an undertaking, but well worth it as it turned out better than we imagined. Thanks grandpa!!

After grandma and grandpa left, Aunt Kirsten visited for Thanksgiving. She and Tiff had a good time hanging out, and of course we watched lots of football and ate lots of food.
December-I had to go to Memphis, TN and Bluff City, AR for work the first week of December, so we decided to make it a family trip and take a couple of extra days and see the sites. We spend 2 days in Memphis and saw Graceland, the Mighty Mississippi, the fire truck museum, and the ducks at the Peabody hotel. And I got to count ball bearings for 8 hours in a south Memphis warehouse!!

I celebrated my 29th birthday on the 7th. Tiff and went out to eat and went shopping, then came home and had cake with the boys.

Aaron, Shanna, Jacen, and Ian spent Christmas with us. It was such a fun time, and saying DJ and Jacen had fun and got along is an understatement. Other than DJ getting sick in th middle of the night on numerous occasions, all the kids had fun, and so did we. And lots of Guitar Hero was played.

January-And finally, January marked a new chapter in our lives as I left PricewaterhouseCoopers after 2.5 years and started a new job at Thompson & Knight, a Texas-based law firm. I'm an international financial analyst doing financial reporting, budgeting, etc for their foreign offices in Mexico, Brazil, and Algeria. So far it has been a great change for our family and we're really excited about the future.
