The Trek West

Don't have a lot of time to comment on the photos, but these are a small sample of the over 900 photos we took on our trip to Utah. Yeah, lots of photos, but the trip was well documented.

We got to see lots of family and had fun catching up and hanging out.

The only way to travel with kids...

We visited the Mt. Timpinogas Temple where Tiff and I were married over 7 years ago.

Great-ma and Great-pa James with all their great-grandkids

Visited Kennecott Copper mine in Bingham Canyon

Went shooting with Grandpa James, Kirsten, and Scott

On the 4th of July we went to the Balloon Races in Provo.
One of the coolest things I've ever seen.

The Highly Anticpated May 2009 Post...

Another busy month in the books....the highlight was our trip to Amarillo over Memorial Day weekend to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Upshaw.

We played baseball in the backyard, went to Palo Duro Canyon, saw Gran (the boys great grandma), ate Rudys and Ede's steaks, and just had a great time.

Only a couple more weeks til our trek to Utah to visit all our cousins, grandparents, and great-grandparents there.

More root problems....these are growing through the concrete foundation outside of the sewage line...we had a water leak and the roots found the water. We've killed the roots and fixed the leak, and retiled the bathroom floor for the 3rd or 4th time since we purchased the house. Lets hope that solves the problem. Just wouldn't be our house if we didn't have some kind of roots problem every year.

Little Miss Blue Eyes

She smiles, and when she does she glows.

And she is completely rolling over now, which is a fun new trick.

The Blog has been neglected....

Life has been quite busy for us lately, and the blog has gone neglected. But now that some projects have been completed, updates have arrived. First, the template and banner are new to represent volume II of the blog along side the new addition to our family, little miss Abigail.

Ben had his 3rd birthday on March 22 and we had a Thomas the Tank Engine party.

We had an Easter egg hunt the Saturday before Easter, and DJ and Ben had a good time hunting eggs. And dad had a good time raiding their candy.

We recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of grandma and grandpa Upshaw in Dallas. All their boys traveled to Dallas and surprised them last weekend with a party. It was so great to get the brother together and spend time with mom and dad.

We watched a video that I have been working on, and below one of the last chapters.
